Rich Wilson - Owner and Drums

As well as running RAW Rich is one of the most in demand drum tutors in the UK with students travelling from all around to study with him. Students from around the world take advantage of his online Skype lessons enabling them to study from anywhere.

Rich has studied with some of the greatest teachers in the world including master teacher Dom Famularo.

Rich performs clinics. Masterclasses and gigs all around Europe and has shared the stage with some amazing drummers.

Ben Wilson - Drums and Guitar

Ben has been teaching for almost 10 years now and also playing both drums and guitar in a wide range of original and cover/tribute acts. Ben has toured a breadth of the country including major UK festivals and also European festivals. Ben has a wealth of industry experience including running his own record label (Lung Filler Records).

Ben also works as a producer and engineer for Universal.

 

Adam Cawthra - Guitar

Having picked up guitar at the age of 15, Adam was initially self taught before taking formal guitar lessons with local guitar teacher John Warhurst who gave Him the skills and knowledge to back up his enthusiasm. Around this time Adam was beginning to play live in bands covering songs from the 60’s up to the present day, He also started to write his own songs at this time. Adam's live playing continued as He went onto study for a BTEC National Diploma in Popular music at Huddersfield Tech which he passed in June 2000. During this time Adam took The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music’s grade 5 Theory of music which he also passed and an A.S. Level in music technology. From 2000 to 2003 he was studying at The University of Salford for a degree in popular music and recording, majoring in performance and composition with a 2:1. Adam studied guitar here with Glen Cartlidge with whom he covered such areas as improvisation and harmony, as well different styles and genres like jazz, blues and rock. Having been a full time gigging musician since 2006 and part time since 1995 Adam has managed to fit a wealth of ‘real world’ musical experience into my guitar teaching. This comes form averaging around 250 gigs a year not only in this country but throughout the world. Adam's specialist areas are performance and group work which can encompass composition through to music theory. Outside of his teaching and playing duties Adam is often found helping write the music for touring theatre productions or working on original music either for himself or in collaborations.


James Brander - Vocals/Guitar/Piano and Songwriting.

 

James is a 23 year old singer, songwriter and musician based in Leeds. As an accomplished performer James is familiar with many Vocal styles and techniques as well as playing piano and guitar. He has a wealth of experience having performed at a vareity of venues up and down the country including 02 academies, the Leeds and Reading festival and the Etihad Staduim. He was the winner of the Musicians Benevolant Fund Songwriting award in 2012 and is currently working on an album with his band The Mexanines.
